We offer planned activities and various types of entertainment every weekend during our season! Summer weekends always include hayrides, movies, bingo, ceramics, and other family fun activities for everyone.

March 25 - 27

EASTER WEEKEND • Lots of eggtastic fun including a egg hunts, adult beverage hunt, our infamous egg toss, and maybe a visit by the Easter Bunny! Our DJ will be here Saturday night.

WELCOME BACK / CLEANUP WEEKEND • Help clean up around the campground on Saturday and receive a coupon good for one free night of camping and lunch on us! Don’t forget that it is April Fools day!

April 8 - 10

15th ANNUAL HEROES WEEKEND • Active duty (ID required) police, fire, emergency, or military personnel receive 1 free night of camping with 1 paid night (RV sites only other discounts for rental units). Saturday morning we will have a memorial service to honor all of America’s heroes. Saturday evening our DJ will be here.

BINGO MADNESS WEEKEND • It is madness! All kinds of Bingo all day.

YARD SALE WEEKEND • Got some junk or treasure? We will have an advertised yard sale open to the public on Saturday (rain or shine).

April 29 - May 1

GETTYSBURG 500 RACE WEEKEND The 21st Annual “Gettysburg Campground 500” Matchbox Car Race returns (trophies awarded). Bring your own car or buy a wreck (2 oz. max. weight - NO Trucks). Dj John will be here Saturday night. (In the Area: 5th Annual Spring Pickin’ Bluegrass Festival ; East Berlin Antique Show; 18th Annual Greyhounds in Gettysburg.)

MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND • What a combination - Mother’s Day and the Apple Blossom Festival. Activities planned include special crafts to make for Mom ($), mother/child mini-golf tournament, special Boyd’s Bear bingo, our wine appreciation class for moms only and music from our DJ. Saturday enjoy a pancake breakfast free for moms ($ for others). (In the Area: 61st Apple Blossom Festival.)

FAMILY FUN WEEKEND • We are planning plenty of games and loads of fun for the kids. Backwards lunch for kids on Saturday and we finish Saturday night with a show of magical illusion by Kyle and Kelly. (In the Area: WWI Day at the Eisenhower Farm, 72nd annual Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival.)

May 20 - 22

SPRING QUIET WEEKEND • Enjoy a quiet weekend camping before the summer season takes off. Saturday night enjoy Ghost Stories around the campfire. (In the Area: Gettysburg Outdoor Antique Show.)

May 27 - 30

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND (Holiday 3-Night Minimum) • Bingo, hayrides, mini-golf, shuffleboard, horseshoe tournaments, swimming, movies, fishing, dancing, plus much more. John the DJ will be here Saturday doing karaoke and returns Sunday for our Memorial Day dance. (In the Area: 149th Gettysburg Memorial Day Parade.)

CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT WEEKEND • Experience a Civil War encampment right here at the campground. Friday night we will have a Civil War era dance and on Saturday the Mason-Dixon Brigade will be presenting living history activities and musket/artillery demos. Matt Dodd will also present his Songs and Stories of the Civil War. (In the Area: D-DAY Anniversary Commemoration at Eisenhower Farm.)

SCHOOL IS OUT POOL PARTY • Poolside DJ along with plenty of fun activities! Saturday evening enjoy ghost stories by the campfire. (In the Area: Gettysburg Brass Band Festival, History Meets The Arts.)

June 17 - 19

FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND • Saturday morning enjoy a pancake breakfast free for dads ($ for others). Other activities include special crafts to make for Dad ($), dad/child mini-golf tournament, special bingo. There will also be a RV maintenance seminar and later in the evening a dance with our DJ. (In the Area: New Oxford Antique Market & Craft Show.)

June 24 - 26

SUMMER IS HERE! • Come enjoy the Gettysburg Campground and the Gettysburg area. Saturday we will have ceramics, crafts, bingo, hayride, and finish the day with Rich and the Roadrunners. The original members have reunited and play a wide variety of music. They will also return in August with Joe Forrester for Joe’s Elvis Tribute show. (In the Area: 43rd Annual Civil War Collectors Show, Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.)

July 1 - 4

JULY 4th HOLIDAY WEEKEND (Holiday 3-Night Minimum) • The 153rd reenactment of the Battle of Gettysburg will be at the Yingling Farm. Saturday our DJ will be poolside in the afternoon and Matt Dodd will be here Saturday Night. Sunday night enjoy Ghost Stories by the campfire. (In the Area: 153rd Gettysburg Civil War Battle Anniversary & Reenactment; Living History Walks and Talks; Concert and Fireworks (Gettysburg College) on July 4th.

GETTYSBURG BIKE WEEK • The annual Gettysburg Bike Week is this weekend in town. If you enjoy motorcycles and riding this is the time to visit Gettysburg. Saturday night we will have ghost stories around the campfire. (In the Area: Gettysburg Bike Week.)

July 15 - 17

LINE DANCING WEEKEND • City Slickers and Country Kickers are back. This is a great way to learn line dancing with the whole family. There will be a dance Friday and Saturday nights! (In the Area: 16th Annual Adams County Irish Festival; 7th Annual Gettysburg 19th Century Baseball Festival.)

July 22 - 24

CHRISTMAS IN JULY WEEKEND • ‘tis the season! Decorate your site and win prizes. Ride on our “Festival of Lights” hayride and finish the day at our dance with DJ John Saturday night. Santa is also planning a visit.

MID-SUMMER’S POOL PARTY • John the DJ will be poolside playing great music while we have some very cool activities. Saturday evening enjoy ghost stories by the campfire.

ELVIS WEEKEND • Joe Forrester returns with Elvis Tribute Show. The Road Runners are also back playing with Joe. We will have Elvis movies, Elvis trivia, and Elvis music. Our Car Show has been cancelled. (In the Area: Ford Family Day at the NPS Visitor Center.)

August 12 - 14

CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT WEEKEND • Experience a Civil War encampment right here at the campground. Friday night the Victorian Dance Ensemble will have a Civil War era dance. CRAB FEAST WEEKEND • Steamed crabs, corn on the cob, and coleslaw. This will be an all-you-can eat meal (advance reservations/$ market price). Ray Owen will return presenting an entertaining musical show for the whole family.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND (Holiday 3-Night Minimum) • Finish summer off with bingo, hayrides, mini-golf, shuffleboard, horseshoe tournaments, swimming, movies, fishing, dancing, plus much more. John the DJ will be here Saturday doing karaoke and returns Sunday for our Memorial Day dance.

QUIET WEEKEND • Enjoy some camping on a quiet September weekend! Saturday evening the band “Men and Machine” will be here for your enjoyment. (In the Area: 4th Annual Early American Living History Event.)

FOOTBALL AND CHILI COOK-OFF WEEKEND • Enter our site-decorating contest and win prizes. Bring your best chili to our chili cook-off tailgate party and meet other football n’ chili loving campers. Saturday evening enjoy Ghost Stories by the campfire. (In the Area: 25th Annual Adams County Heritage Festival; Eisenhower World War II Weekend.)

PIPPINFEST • The annual Fairfield Pippinfest festival is Saturday and Sunday. The CB Pickers return Saturday night for some great bluegrass. (In the Area: Fairfield Pippinfest; Gettysburg Fall Outdoor Antique Show.)

APPLE HARVEST II & COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND • This is the second weekend of the 52nd National Apple Harvest Festival as well as the Catoctin Fall Colorfest in Thurmont, MD. Matt Dodd will be here Saturday night with his Songs and Stories of America show. (In the Area: 52nd Annual National Apple Harvest Festival; Catoctin Fall Colorfest.)

HALLOWEEN 1 (Holiday 2-Night Minimum) • Our first Halloween weekend with crafts, ceramics, pumpkin carving contest (prizes), adult & children costume contests (prizes), site decorating contest (prizes), trick-or-treating, haunted hayrides, Halloween dance & our haunted house. Bring your own pumpkin for carving.

VETERANS DAY WEEKEND • The camping season is coming to an end and it is time to enjoy some fall camping. Veterans get 1 free night of camping with 1 paid night (proof of service required). (In the Area: 56th Annual International Gift Festival.)

REMEMBRANCE DAY WEEKEND • There are various events around town commemorating the anniversary of President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. There is also a Civil War parade followed by the annual illumination event at the Soldiers National Cemetery. (In the Area: Anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address; Remembrance Day Parade & Ceremonies; Annual Remembrance Day Illumination at Soldiers National Cemetery.)
