CLEANUP WEEKEND • Camp with us this weekend and help clean up the campground on Saturday. Receive a coupon good for 1 night of camping valid for 2015 except Holiday Weekends. Drinks/snacks provided. (In the Area: Easter Candy and Wine Pairing at the Adams County Winery.)

EASTER WEEKEND • Easter is a special time here at the Gettysburg Campground. We will have our egg hunts for the young and old, fun Easter crafts, and more. The Easter Bunny will be hopping on by as well! Our DJ will be here Saturday night.

April 10 - 12

14th ANNUAL HEROES WEEKEND • This is our 14th annual weekend to honor all police, fire/ems, and military personnel (ID required). Receive a free night of camping with one paid night (RV/Tent sites only). Special events Saturday with our DJ finishing up Saturday evening. (In the Area: 1st Annual Gettysburg Firkin Fest,” Limited attendance brewfest.)

BINGO MADNESS WEEKEND • It is back! Our Bingo Madness weekend. Bingo, Bingo, Bingo. Need we say more? All kinds of Bingo on Saturday so come ready to play. (In the Area: Annual Spring Muster .”)

YARD SALE WEEKEND • We will host a campground-wide yard sale on Saturday. (In the Area: 17th Annual Greyhounds in Gettysburg; “An Evening With The Painting” National Park Cyclorama.)

GETTYSBURG 500 WEEKEND • 20th Annual “Gettysburg Campground 500” Matchbox Car Race (trophies awarded). Saturday enjoy ghost stories by the campfire. (In the Area: 60th Annual Apple Blossom Festival ; East Berlin Antique Show; Heritage Hike.)

May 8- 10

MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND • This is mom’s weekend. Saturday we start with a free ­pancake breakfast for moms ($ for others). Special crafts ($), a mother-child mini-golf tournament, our annual moms-only wine appreciation class, and a dance with DJ John. Sunday is Mom’s day to sleep in!

SPRING QUIET WEEKEND • Enjoy a quiet weekend before the official summer season starts. Matt Dodd will be here performing “Songs and Stories of America” around the campfire. (In the Area: Gettysburg Spring Outdoor Antique Show, Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival.)

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND (Holiday 3-Night Minimum) • Let the summer season begin! Bingo, hayrides, mini-golf, shuffleboard, horseshoe tournaments, swimming, movies, fishing, and more. Our DJ is here Saturday night and returns for karaoke Sunday night. (In the Area: 148th Annual Memorial Day Parade.)

CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT WEEKEND • Come see our Living History Encampment here at the campground. Civil War era dance Friday night and living history presentations on Saturday.

KIDS’ WEEKEND • Just for kids! Backwards lunch, plenty of activities, and other fun stuff! Tom Jolin’s Folk Musicale will be here Saturday evening with lots of kids’ participation! (In the Area: “An Evening With The Painting” National Park Cyclorama.)

POOL PARTY WEEKEND • Poolside DJ with some fun and challenging games. (In the Area: 8th Annual Gettysburg Festival.)

FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND • This is dad’s weekend. Saturday, we will start with a free pancake breakfast for dads ($ for others), special crafts ($), father-child mini-golf tournament, special Bingo, and a dance with DJ John. We are also arranging a special event on Saturday for fathers only. (In the Area: New Oxford Antique Market & Craft Show.)

REBA TRIBUTE WEEKEND • Marie Levin and the band Little Rock return for their annual visit presenting a fantastic “Reba” tribute show. This is a standing room only event, so book early! (In the Area: 42nd Annual Civil War & Collector’s Show.)

JULY 4th HOLIDAY WEEKEND (Holiday 3-Night Minimum) • The 152nd Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. DJ John will be here as well as Matt Dodd performing “Songs and Stories of the Civil War”. (In the Area: 152nd Gettysburg Battle Anniversary Events; 152nd Gettysburg Civil War Battle Reenactment.)

July 10 - 12

GETTYSBURG BIKE WEEK • Bike Week returns to Gettysburg. If you enjoy motorcycles and riding, this is the time to visit Gettysburg. Saturday we will have Ghost Stories around the campfire. (In the Area: Gettysburg Bike Week.)

LINE DANCING WEEKEND • City Slickers and Country Kickers are back with an evening packed with line dancing geared for all levels of experience. Let Lars walk you through a great evening! (In the Area: Adams County Irish Festival; 6th Annual Gettysburg 19th Century Baseball Festival.)

CHRISTMAS IN JULY WEEKEND • Come enjoy all the fun Christmas activities in the middle of the summer. Loads of activities and a festive holiday dance with music by DJ John.

ELVIS & CAR SHOW WEEKEND • Joe Forrester and the Roadrunner Band return presenting his “Elvis for All Occasions” show. New this year, we have moved our car show weekend to this weekend as well. The Maryland Roadrunner Car Club will be here hosting a great car show. (In the Area: Living History Demonstrations & Events.)

FOOTBALL AND CHILI COOK-OFF WEEKEND • Bring your best to our chili cook-off (prizes awarded). Decorate your site with your favorite team colors and enter into our site decorating contest (prizes awarded). (In the Area: 41st Annual East Berlin Colonial Day; 11th Annual Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival.)

APPLE HARVEST I WEEKEND • The 51st annual National Apple Harvest Festival here in Adams County opens this weekend. Saturday the Traditions Unleashed Duo will be here. (In the Area: 51st Annual National Apple Harvest Festival.)

APPLE HARVEST II & COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND • The 51st National Apple Harvest Festival continues as well as the Catoctin Fall Colorfest in nearby Thurmont, MD are this weekend. HALLOWEEN 1 (Holiday 2-Night Minimum) • Our first spooky weekend. Crafts, pumpkin carving, costume contests, site decorating, trick-or-treating, dance with DJ John, and haunted house. Bring your own pumpkin for carving.

(In the Area: 152nd Anniversary of Lincoln’s Address on Thursday 11/19; Saturday - Remembrance Day Parade; Remembrance Day Illumination at Soldiers National Cemetery.)
