We offer planned activities and various types of entertainment every weekend during our season! Summer weekends always include hayrides, movies, bingo, ceramics, and other family fun activities for everyone.

April 4 - 6

CLEANUP WEEKEND • Help clean up and landscape the campground on Saturday and receive a camp credit for one free night (1 per site). Lunch provided. (In the Area: Annual Spring Muster)

April 11 - 13

HEROES WEEKEND • Active police, fire/ems, or military personnel (ID required) receive a free night of camping with one paid night (RV/Tent sites only). Saturday, enjoy ghost stories by the campfire.

April 18 - 20

EASTER WEEKEND • Easter means lots of activities and our Easter dance with DJ John.

April 25 - 27

YARD SALE WEEKEND • Campground-wide Saturday yard sale open to the public. (In the Area: Greyhounds in Gettysburg; “An Evening With The Painting” National Park Cyclorama.

GETTYSBURG 500 WEEKEND • 19th Annual “Gettysburg Campground 500” Matchbox Car Race (trophies awarded). Saturday enjoy ghost stories by the campfire. (In the Area: Apple Blossom Festival; East Berlin Antique Show; Heritage Hike.

May 9- 11

MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND • Free Saturday pancake breakfast for moms ($ for others), special crafts ($), mini-golf tournament, wine appreciation class, and a dance with DJ John. Sunday is Mom’s day to sleep in!

May 16 - 18

SPRING QUIET WEEKEND • The last quiet weekend before the official summer season starts. Matt Dodd will be here performing “Songs and Stories of the Civil War” around the campfire. (In the Area: Gettysburg Spring Outdoor Antique Show, Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival.

May 23 - 26

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND (Holiday 3-Night Minimum) • The summer season begins! We have all the usual fun stuff: bingo, hayrides, mini-golf, shuffleboard, horseshoe tournaments, swimming, movies, fishing, and more. DJ and dancing Saturday night, Karaoke Sunday night.

FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND • Free Saturday pancake breakfast for dads ($ for ­others), special crafts ($), mini-golf tournament, special bingo, and a dance with DJ John. Sunday, Dad can sleep in. (In the Area: Gettysburg Festival.)

JULY 4th HOLIDAY WEEKEND (Holiday 3-Night Minimum) • The 151st Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. DJ John is here as well as Matt Dodd performing “Songs and Stories of the Civil War”. (In the Area: 151st Gettysburg Civil War Battle Anniversary Reenactment; “An Evening With The Painting” National Park Cyclorama.)

July 11 - 13

GETTYSBURG BIKE WEEK • If you enjoy motorcycles and riding, this is the time to visit Gettysburg. There will be activities all around town. Saturday, enjoy ghost stories by the campfire. (In the Area: Gettysburg Bike Week)

July 18 - 20

LINE DANCING WEEKEND • City Slickers and Country Kickers return with line dancing geared for inexperienced as well as experienced. (In the Area: Adams County Irish Festival; Annual Gettysburg 19th Century Baseball Festival.)

July 25 - 27

CHRISTMAS IN JULY WEEKEND • Fun activities and holiday dance with music by our DJ. Bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. (In the Area: “An Evening With The Painting” National Park Cyclorama.)

CAR SHOW & SOCK HOP WEEKEND • The Roadrunners Car Club returns hosting this event (trophies awarded). This is a scholarship fundraising activity for the children of fallen law enforcement officers. Don & Roxy return for our Saturday night Sock Hop. (In the Area: Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival.)

FOOTBALL AND CHILI COOK-OFF WEEKEND • Bring your best chili to our chili cook-off (prizes awarded). Football site decorating contest. Saturday Matt Dodd will be here. (In the Area: East Berlin Colonial Day.)
