March 29 - 31

EASTER WEEKEND • Easter arrives early this year but we still have plenty of Easter fun planned. The Easter Bunny will be here with treats, Easter egg hunt for the kids, our special egg toss, and the adult Easter egg hunt.

April 5 - 7

CLEANUP WEEKEND • Help clean up around the campground on Saturday and receive a coupon good for one free night of camping (1 per site). We will provide lunch for those working.  (In the Area: Gettysburg 150th Music Festival “National Festival Of The States”)

April 12 - 14

HEROES WEEKEND • All active duty (ID required) police, fire, emergency, or military personnel receive one free night of camping with one paid night (RV/Tent sites only). We will have our annual memorial service along with some special activities for the kids. We are also accepting care package donations for a PA Army National Guard unit currently deployed in Afghanistan. (In the Area: “An Evening With The Painting – Cyclorama at the NPS Visitor Center.)

April 19 - 21

YARD SALE WEEKEND • Saturday we will have a yard sale open to the public. Bring your stuff with you to our advertised yard sale (rain or shine). Saturday, enjoy ghost stories by the campfire. (In the Area: Living History Presentations at the National Park.)

SCRAPBOOKING ’N’ QUIET WEEKEND • Come enjoy a nice quiet weekend with us. We are also planning some scrapbooking activities with the Rec Hall open for all you scrapbookers! (In the Area: 15th Annual Greyhounds in Gettysburg.

GETTYSBURG 500 WEEKEND • Our 18th Annual “Gettysburg Campground 500” Matchbox Car Race (trophies awarded). Bring your own car or buy a wreck (2 oz. max. weight - NO trucks). NASCAR site decorating contest (prizes awarded). Saturday, enjoy ghost stories by the campfire. (In the Area: 59th Apple Blossom Festival.

May 10 - 12

MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND • Saturday morning we are having a free pancake breakfast for moms ($ for others), special crafts to make for Mom ($), mother/child mini-golf tournament, Boyd’s Bear Bingo, our wine appreciation class for moms only, and finishing up with music from our DJ. Sunday is Mom’s day to sleep in! (In the Area: Living History Presentations at the National Park.)

May 17 - 19

SPRING QUIET WEEKEND • The last quiet weekend before the official summer season starts. Saturday evening, Matt Dodd will be here performing “Songs and Stories of the Civil War” around the campfire. (In the Area: Gettysburg Spring Outdoor Antique Show, Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival.

May 24 - 27

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND (3-Night Minimum) • We get going for the summer this weekend with bingo, hayrides, mini-golf, shuffleboard, horseshoe tournaments, swimming, movies, fishing, dancing, plus much more. Our DJ will be here Friday, Ghost stories Saturday night and Traditions Unleashed Sunday night. (In the Area: 146th Gettysburg Memorial Day Parade; An Evening With The Painting – Cyclorama at the NPS Visitor Center, 3 hour Special Monuments Tour.)

PIG ROAST AND HAWAIIAN LUAU • Hawaiian-themed crafts & activities for the kids; Our annual Pig Roast with the trimmings ($); Ray Owen returns Saturday evening. (In the Area: An Evening With The Painting – Cyclorama at the NPS Visitor Center; Frederick Festival of the Arts.)

CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT WEEKEND • Friday evening, we will have a Civil War era dance; Saturday, our encampment opens here on the campground, with living history activities including musket and artillery demos. (In the Area: Gettysburg Festival.)

June 14 - 16

FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND • Saturday, we will start with a pancake breakfast, free for Dads ($ for others), then make that special craft for Dad ($). Father/child mini-golf tournament, Dad’s special bingo, and we finish off Saturday evening with our DJ spinning tunes for the whole family. (In the Area: Gettysburg Festival; PA Lavender Festival; New Oxford Outdoor Antique Market & Craft Show)

RUBBER DUCKY REGATTA • Saturday afternoon we will have our annual rubber ducky regatta. Pick a duck and cheer it on as we race down the mighty Marsh Creek (prize awarded). Saturday, enjoy ghost stories by the campfire. (In the Area: Mid-Atlantic Women’s Motorcycle Rally; What in the world is a Cyclorama?; 15th Annual Wheel Horse Tractor Show.)

REBA TRIBUTE WEEKEND • Marie Levin and the Little Rock Band are back presenting a fantastic “Reba” tribute show. The 150th Anniversary celebration of the Battle of Gettysburg begins. JULY 4th HOLIDAY WEEKEND • The 150th reenactment of the Battle of Gettysburg will be this weekend. We will have plenty of activities here at the campground as well. GETTYSBURG BIKE WEEK • If you enjoy motorcycles and riding this is the time to visit Gettysburg. There will be activities all around town. Saturday enjoy ghost stories by the campfire. (In the Area: Gettysburg Bike Week)

LINE DANCING WEEKEND City Slickers and Country Kickers return for an evening of line dancing. This is a show geared for folks new to line dancing as well as the most experienced. (In the Area: Adams County Irish Festival; 4th Annual Gettysburg 19th Century Baseball Festival; 10th Annual CornFest)

July 26 - 28

CHRISTMAS IN JULY WEEKEND • Ride on our "Festival of Lights" hayride, site decorating contest and dance away at our Holiday dance with music by our DJ. Bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots and receive a weekend pass for mini-golf. (In the Area: Songs and Stories of a Civil War Hospital.)

ELVIS WEEKEND • Joe Forrester returns with the Roadrunners presenting his “Elvis for All Occasions” show. Elvis movies, Elvis trivia, Elvis music. (In the Area: What in the world is a Cyclorama?)

POOL PARTY WEEKEND • Come enjoy one of the last weekends left before school starts. Saturday afternoon listen to our DJ poolside with plenty of fun for the whole family. Later on that evening enjoy ghost stories by the campfire. (In the Area: 20th Annual Civil War Music Muster; Littlestown Good Ole Days; Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival.)

CRAB FEAST WEEKEND • Enjoy steamed crabs, chicken, corn on the cob, & coleslaw. This will be an all-you-can eat event and requires advance payment and reservations ($). Saturday night, Ray Owen will be here with his own unique style of music. (In the Area: 91st Annual South Mountain Fair)

CAR SHOW & SOCK HOP WEEKEND • The Roadrunners Car Club of Carroll County, MD, will be returning to host our car show weekend. This is open to the public and trophies are awarded. This is a scholarship fund raising activity for the children of fallen law enforcement officers. Don & Roxy are back for our annual Saturday night Sock Hop dance. (In the Area: 9th Annual Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival; 39th Annual East Berlin Colonial Day)

FOOTBALL AND CHILI COOK-OFF WEEKEND • Bring your best chili to our chili cook-off tailgate party and meet other football n’ chili loving campers. Prizes awarded for the chili winners. Don’t forget to decorate your site with your team colors. Saturday, enjoy ghost stories by the campfire. APPLE HARVEST II  & COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND • This is the second weekend of the 49th National Apple Harvest Festival, as well as the Catoctin Fall Colorfest in Thurmont, MD. REMEMBRANCE DAY WEEKEND • Numerous events are planned around town commemorating the 150th anniversary of President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. There will also be a civil war parade and illumination event at the Soldiers National Cemetery. (In the Area: 150th Anniversary of Lincoln’s Address; Remembrance Day Parade & Ceremonies; 11th Annual Remembrance Day Illumination at Soldiers National Cemetery.)
